Who
is Mrs. Leila Obeid? |
With 30 years of experience as a professional
beautician and beauty consultant Mrs. Leila Obeid is
the Owner and executive manager of esthetical beauty
center "Centre Obeid" in Baabdat. A place where a
woman’s beauty is taken care of from head to toe.
In the year 1995, she joined the Future Television
by creating, producing and presenting beauty related
shows:
- Creator and presenter of a beauty segment on the
morning show "Morning World" (Aalam al Sabah).

- Producer and presenter of a beauty show by the
name of "Natural is More Beautiful" (Tabi3e Ajmal)
presented during the month of Ramadan. That specific
show had the highest rate of viewers.
- After running a real life of beauty clinic ,
extreme make-over , throughout my professional life
experience , I created and executed a reality
program under the name of Beauty Clinic , managed
the selection of doctors , patients and the
execution of the process of the surgeries and all
the esthetic aspects of the show until the final
reveal.
- Author of the book "Kingdom of Beauty" (Mamlakat
al Jamal), an aesthetic encyclopedia, which grossed
the best selling beauty book in the world.

I am the owner and general manager of CENTRE OBEID
company (major shareholder with my three daughters
Gina, Joyce and Jessica as minor shareholders) after
my husband’s death.
It started in the year 1974 by an artistic feeling
inside me which I developed by educating my
admiration to beauty through joining academies in
different parts of the world, Paris, London, Brazil…
Year 1976 marked the beginning of a very long and
tough road leading to establishing my business that
first started in a space limited to my living room
in my small humble house. Few years later, this
space shifted to a small mezzanine holding my name.
Together with my husband, we expanded the mezzanine
to another floor, changing the name to "Center
Obeid." In no time and after the death of my
husband, we opened four additional floors offering
the most up to date, high techniques and therapies,
thus a space for medical clinics, and a spa for
relaxation... My high qualifications and experience
attracted Future TV 8 years ago. Today, I am a
celebrity, and I host 2 shows on Future TV, "Beauty"
as a morning show, and "Beauty Clinic" as a prime
time in the evening. Year 2006 crowned my work and
experience by a beauty book "مملكة الجمال " Although
the center lies in the mountains far from Beirut,
those TV shows and the book gave me opened
opportunities and introduced me to the world and
especially the Arab world, therefore gaining the
attraction of the Royal families which enriched the
image of my center. As I export now my artistic work
where I am invited to execute in different part of
the Arab world as well as my latest book "Kingdom of
beauty مملكة الجمال "distributed by academia
international that won the prize of "no.1 best
seller" in its field.
I also import different machineries and materials
used in my work as well as cosmetics. We have an
extension in our centre for cosmetics and perfume of
the most prestigious products. I attended seminars
for women in business in the Arab world. To enhance
my capabilities and abilities I yearly attend
different seminars held in different part of the
world concerning beauty. I also write on a regular
base in different beauty magazine and give many
speeches a year in different occasions giving
initiations about beauty secrets. |
